White March

White March
The White March took place on 20 October 1996 when more than 1 million participants, schoolchildren prominent among them, paraded through Brussels to express solidarity with the parents of victims of a pedophilia ring and outrage at the alleged ineptitude of law enforcement and legal officials. Reforms of the national police and judicial systems ensued.
