Asselberghe, Alphonse Jean-Baptiste

(1839-1916).

   Alphonse Asselberghe was born in Brussels on 19 July 1839. A landscape painter, he created realistic scenes, notably of Tervuren, the Flemish coast, the Ardennes, and the Kempen countryside. He died in Uccle on 10 April 1916.
