- Heysel/Heizel
- A plateau northwest of the city center, Heysel was the site of the World's Fair of 1935 and the World's Fair of 1958.The fairs were held here on a 200 ha (494 acre) estate that had been laid out for King Leopold II, who bequeathed it to the state on his death in 1909. The Parc des Expositions, Atomium, and Stade Roi Baudouin are located here.
